Appixio Hire uses the role requirements and interview framework you define to run a structured first-round interview. Candidates can answer by voice or text, and your team receives transcripts, scoring notes, and a report for review.

The 14-day free trial includes 10 interviews, 1 user seat, basic AI scoring, and text-based interviews. It's a great way to evaluate the platform before committing to a paid plan.

Scoring & Evaluation

Scoring is designed to support recruiters, not replace them. Appixio Hire evaluates candidates against the same role-specific criteria, explains the reasoning behind each score, and helps your team compare candidates more consistently. Final hiring decisions remain with your team.

The STAR assessment evaluates candidate responses using the Situation, Task, Action, Result framework — a proven method for assessing behavioral competencies. The AI analyzes how well candidates structure their answers, identify concrete examples, and articulate outcomes. This is included in Starter and higher plans.

Consensus is a multi-evaluator scoring system where multiple team members can independently review and score candidate responses, then the system aggregates their assessments into a consensus score. It is included in the Growth and Pro plans. This helps reduce individual bias and gives the hiring team a more consistent review process.

Security & Integrity

Appixio Hire can track signals such as tab switching, copy-paste patterns, and unusual response behaviour. Advanced anti-cheat options are available in the Pro plan. The goal is to give recruiters helpful integrity signals, not automatically reject candidates.

Appixio Hire is built with privacy, encryption, and configurable data retention in mind. Voice responses can be transcribed so teams can review text-based reports. Customer interview data is not used to train public AI models. For larger teams, we can discuss data-processing and retention requirements. Read our Privacy Policy for more details.

Languages & Accessibility

Appixio Hire supports 10+ languages, including English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Persian (Farsi), and more. The candidate experience includes RTL support for Arabic and Persian.

By default, interview links are single-use and expire after completion so candidates complete the same process under consistent conditions. Administrators can reset an interview when there are technical issues or exceptional circumstances. You can also publish a public link on job boards like Indeed for open applications.

Billing & Plans

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When upgrading, the new plan takes effect immediately and you're charged a prorated amount. When downgrading, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

You'll receive a notification when you reach 80% of your monthly interview limit. Once the limit is reached, you can either upgrade to a higher plan or purchase additional interview credits. Existing reports and data remain fully accessible regardless of limits.

Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time — you'll retain access until the end of your billing period. Annual subscriptions come with a 14-day money-back guarantee. After that, no refund is provided for the unused portion. See our Terms of Service for full details.
